5 Bedroom House in Yakima

Oakshire Guest House is a beautiful traditional 3400 sq ft, 4 1/2 bdrm home. Situated in the gated Oakshire Estate 25 minutes from shopping & the Union Gap exit off I-82. Only 15 minutes to the SOZO multi-sports complex and 30 minutes from downtown Yakima. It is perfect for a quiet family get away, hiking or strolling the 100 acre property or biking the quiet country roads. Come to Yakima to enjoy our winerys, micro-breweries and sunshine!
The space
OE Guest House is in a very secluded, quiet, gated estate. It is surrounded by old growth oak trees and lush landscape. It looks out on waving fields of hay with the sun rising just over the Ahtanum ridge. Plenty of parking and room to stretch, wonder, dream and rest. The house is beautifully appointed with lots of space and even a huge laundry/office room. There is a king bedroom on the ground floor with an attached full bathroom.
Guest access
Guests have access to the full house, garage, jacuzzi and nice back yard living space with BBQ and several acre yard. Guests are also welcome to stroll or ride bikes around the 100 acre estate. The main estate is a wedding venue on a limited number of weekends in the summer - so please respect our customers privacy around the main estate on those weekends! There is also a 3000' airfield on the property that guests are welcome to use to fly into the property on their private plane or helicopter.
Other things to note
The internet is via Verizon Hot Spot so can be slow at times, if you are a Verizon user you will have great cell service, other cell service is pretty limited.

Property is used for a handful of weddings each summer so some weekends may have more activity on the driveways.

Summary: Our family, spanning three generations aged 15 to 86, recently enjoyed a remarkable stay at this exquisite guest house on a private estate. Nestled in a stunning location, the property offered the perfect balance of privacy and communal space for our family reunion over Thanksgiving week.The spacious kitchen, fully equipped with everything we needed, allowed our granddaughter to craft a delightful Thanksgiving feast from scratch, with additional hands joining in the culinary fun. With a formal dining room for special occasions and a cozy dining area beside the kitchen, we had the ideal setup for our celebratory dinner with 10 guests.The convenience of four bathrooms was a true blessing for our diverse group, and the presence of a ground-floor king-size bed catered perfectly to our senior family members. Upstairs, the master bedroom, alongside a queen room and twin beds room, offered comfortable and well-appointed accommodations. The added bonus of a TV room off the master suite was a hit with our sports-loving grandson, who enjoyed a weekend of football.Additionally, we were thoroughly impressed by the responsiveness and kindness of the owners. Their prompt communication and attentiveness greatly contributed to our delightful experience.
